2\/28\/17 -At ch\/o NF brought up Ruby and notified\u00a0owner (Nicole) of the warning. Owner was taken back and was (in her words) very confused as to why she wasn’t notified prior of the behavior. She was pretty defensive and HA joined the conversation to help explain. We told her the behavior had only today crossed from playing to tagging and diminishing the play of group as a whole. She asked if this one warning warranted Ruby being kicked out, as that was completely unfair, said it is part of the breed to herd, and asked if we knew the difference. I explained yes we are aware of the breed and regardless we do not allow targeting or tagging, and it is a 3 warning system, (unless progresses to injuring another Guest) and we suggested talking to HT. Her husband walked in and she twisted our words to him. She said “We are discussing Ruby’s aggressive behavior and the disciplinary actions moving forward.” She also tried to say that Ruby was biting and drew blood. NF reiterated\u00a0that she didn’t draw blood but that we didn’t want it to esscalate and have that happen in the future. Both NF and HA reiterated that nowhere did we say she was aggressive, just not responding to the GA’s redirecting her, and tagging the other Guests. Conversation ended on a good note. We left a note for trainer to call. -HA<\/p>\n
