Leslie called back and they were able to find someone to come get Zazu (Susan Powers or Diane Ogden). She also asked if we advised they keep their other dog separated and I recommended they try to keep them separate as much as possible as CC is an airborne virus and highly contagious. I did explain about the bordetella vax and this strain being more resistant towards it. Said that if they have any questions to either give us a callback or consult their vet. I again said that it seems to be a pretty mild case as we have only heard a cough here or there and his energy is completely typical. Follow up in a week. -AG<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Owners called for an update around 2:45 pm right after AW had heard another cough from Zazu. AG spoke with I think Leslie and let her know we had only just heard a cough and I was about to give them a call. Also mentioned Zazu can be a bit selective with eating which she said was normal. I explained the CC spiel. She did not seem upset, maybe just a little concerned. -AG<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Around 7am this morning AC noted a couple isolated coughs from Zazu in the sw yard. AG pulled from group and isolated into a crate in the training room for observation. Have not heard anything since and I did run around with him quite a bit outside. Will keep him from group play until further notice.
