I did say she can always look into our res training program but it is no guarantee he would get into group that way. -AG

Per DD, Ripper Blue is no longer allowed in DP. He is nose punching and harassing the other Guests constantly. He is not responding to his name, nor is he understanding the social cues. He has gotten frequent breaks and leash walked for quite a while in attempt to control the craziness with no avail. I called O and let them know he is overly dominant and not a candidate for the DP program. O (Eva) was not surprised at all and said her husband insists on training Ripper himself, and she completely understands. I did mention DB option, as well as still being able to Board if needed. O was thankful and very nice. -HLM

4/26/22 – AG spoke with owner at check out in depth about the behaviors from below. I did say that if we do not see improvement on the training side it would be grounds for dismissal from group play and as of now he “soft passed” his evaluation. I also recommended the off leash resident training program and he said he was going to consider/look into it – he does already use an e-collar at home just fyi. He also mentioned that Ripper Blue behaves well for him but they have seen some of what I was talking about with his wife or around other dogs so it was not too much of a surprise. I also asked what name he responds to for them and it is “Rip” – I told him that I did get him to respond to Blue here when I was trying out different variations. -AG

Ripper Blue had his DP evaluation today. He did okay for about an hour and a half before he became unresponsive to his name. He was not taking social ques very well from the other Guests when they did not want to play and nose pecking other dogs’ necks. I gave him a break and brought him back out about 30 minutes later and worked with him on a longline. His recall seemed to improve (He comes to “Blue” the most reliably) and I did correct him for the nose pecking which seemed to improve. Wrote in Report card that he did need a break and was playing more dominant than some of the other Guests liked and that he would be a great resident training candidate. AG or C to run at check out and provide all this info as well and will say that if we do not see improvement in his recall/basic manners it would be grounds for dismissal from group play if he cannot learn to settle in the group. The next time he comes for DayPlay AG will take to yard.

2/25/22 – Tested Ripper Blue in greens today (number was 11). He did okay, he tends to just play very hard and run zoomies when he gets going. Marked as short rotation for hyperactivity and will note in first DB report card today. -AG

7/29/22- AG ran at check out and owner just said “What am I gonna do with you?” to Ripper.
